CASEY, Dennis Stephen - 86, Port Felix, Guysborough County, formerly of 76 Chappell St., Dartmouth, died Thursday in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Charlos Cove, Guysborough County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary (Snyder) Casey. He worked many years in the furniture moving business. He was an avid sports fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his wife, the former Charlotte Veronica King; six sons, Earl, Saint John, N.B.; Dennis Jr., Bedford; Freeman, London Ont.; Warren, Halifax; Gerald (Jerry), River Bourgeois; Patrick (Pat), Halifax; three daughters, Kaye (Mrs. Don Howard Sr.), Bedford; Shirley (Mrs. Carl Embrett), Dartmouth; Joan (Mrs. Arnold DeBaie), DeBaie's Cove; 24 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel, Port Felix; four sisters, Blanche (Mrs. John Rossong), Hazel Hill; Annie (Mrs. Arthur DeRabbie), Hazel Hill; Effie (Mrs. Henry Spears), Whitehead; Mary (Mrs. Scott Hart), Drayton Valley, Alta. He was predeceased by two brothers, Howard, Ernst. funeral arrangements are incomplete. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity.
