ETHEL J. MURPHY

MURPHY, Ethel J. - Larry's River, Guysborough County, died March 8, 1993, at home. Born in Larry's River, she was a daughter of the late William and Jennie (Gerrior) Murphy. She was a retired postal worker and very active in her community. She is survived by two sisters, Nina, Margaret, both of Larry's River; two brothers, Vincent, Larry's River; Michael, Cambridge, Mass.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, John, Raymond; sister, Josie Doiron. The body is in the family residence, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Mass of Christian Burial will be 4 p.m. Thursday in St. Peter's Church, Larry's River, Rev. Douglas Murphy officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or any charity. Arrangements are under the direction of G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
