TAYLOR, Frances Elizabeth - 64, 59 Salter Ave., Truro, died February 28, 1997, at home. Born in Whitehead, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Casey) Spears. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She was an avid bowler and bingo player. She is survived by her husband, Frank; daughters, Diane King, Truro; Phyllis and common-law husband Darrell Hollingsworth, Old Barns; sons, Terry and wife Rhonda, Truro Heights; Brian and wife Lorna, Bible Hill; Peter, Halifax; brothers, Robert, Port Morien; Howard, Whitehead; sisters, Loretta (Mrs. Hugh Taylor), Bible Hill; Bertha (Mrs. James Boudreau), Halifax; Doris (Mrs. Thomas Parker), Lucy, both of Whitehead; grandchildren, Michelle, Carrie-Ann, Tabitha, Ryan, Royal, Anthony, Kyle, Caitlin, Ben, Robert. She was predeceased by sisters, Annie, Margaret, Georgina and Georgie; brothers, Freddie, Alvin and Ralph. Visitations will be 4-9 p.m. today, 4:30-9 p.m. Sunday in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception Church, Rev. Vernon Driscoll officiating. Spring burial will be in Bible Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations, may be made to The Lung Association or Canadian Diabetes Association.
