ELIZABETH BLANCH SPEARS
SPEARS, Elizabeth Blanch - 83, Whitehead, Guysborough County, died July 13, 1992 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Charlos Cove, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Eliza (Grover) Casey. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Port Felix. She is survived by five daughters, Bertha (Mrs. James Boudreau), Halifax; Frances (Mrs. Frank Taylor), Loretta (Mrs. Hughie Taylor), both of Truro; Doris (Mrs. Thomas Parker), Lucy, both of Whitehead; two sons, Robert, Port Morien, Cape Breton; Howard, at home; brother, Augustus, Charlos Cove; 29 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William; three daughters, Margaret, Annie and Georgina; four sons, Frederick, Alvin, Ralph, George; sister, Lena ; five brothers, John, Michael, Alvin, Leander, Russell. The body is in St. Joseph's Church, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2p.m. Thursday, Rev. Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso.
